OsteoThai Bodywork Treatment
OsteoThai is a bodywork practice rooted in osteopathic principles and inspired by Thai massage techniques.
Through pressure on muscles, passive stretches, and joint mobilizations, each session supports circulation, breathing, posture, digestion, and overall nervous system balance. It can be preventive—improving flexibility, mobility, and overall regulation—or therapeutic, helping with back pain, headaches, stress, sleep difficulties, digestive issues, and chronic pain or tension. We don’t “fix” the body; we create conditions for it to reorganize, regulate, and express its own health and vitality. Each session can serve as a map—offering your body a felt sense of balance. The benefits are supported and extended through your own habits, awareness, and daily movement.
How to prepare:
• Eat lightly 1–2 hours before (avoid heavy meals).
• Wear warm, comfortable layers that allow movement. The session is done fully clothed on a mattress at floor level, no oils are used. If you tend to get cold, consider thick socks or light gloves—the body often cools down during deep relaxation.
• Avoid strong perfumes or scented products, as they can interfere with breathing comfort and sensory awareness.
• Sessions are generally quiet, giving you space to settle into your body and sensations. You’re always welcome to speak and communicate anything relevant during the treatment.
• Put your phone on silent to avoid interruptions.
• Afterward, hydrate, stay warm, and move slowly as you transition back into your day. Paying attention to your body’s sensation and movement patterns can deepen the benefits of the session.
